Did somebody say tuna?

Presenting Kosmo, the rubber-faced Boston terrier! What you can't see in this cropped picture are the little guy's good-looking and doting parents, who are posing for their engagement photos. He's no doubt an energetic pup, shown below with pal Finley, an English bulldog.

Thanks to Fiona S. from Mountain View.

Dexter

Our second post comes from Deborah M. in Ohio. Dexter is a lovable (and sleepy) lhasa apso. Note: mashed-up face, worried helpless expression, discoloration about the shoulders, and dejected supine posture. Nicely captured, Debs =)

Say Hi to UglyCute

So this blog is going to be a little different from the esteemed http://www.cuteoverload.com. Here, we focus on "uglycute," a variation of the term "sexyugly" that was popularized by the film Kissing Jessica Stein. That is to say, things (doggies and other animals, babies, situations) that are so monstrous and ugly that they are lovable in their very ugliness.

This subject is near and dear to my heart, as I myself was a very ugly-cute child. If you're nice, I just might post baby pictures. But to kick things off, our first submission is from Garry T. with his nameless bunny who loves stale bread:
